The Hilal to commence the month of Muharram1447 AH was looked for after the sunset on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. The Hilal WAS SIGHTED by CHC subcommittee members by ru’yah ammah throughout mainland USA.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared Thursday, June 26th, 2025, the 1st day of Al Muharram 1447 AH.
Let us begin this new year with dua, reflection, and renewed commitment to our deen. May Allah ﷻ grant us barakah, good health, and steadfastness in faith throughout the year.
