Moon Sighting Update

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
The reports from all subcommittees unanimously confirmed that the moon was sighted at sunset on Monday, June 15, 2026. Therefore, the month of Dhul Hijjah will complete 29 days.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has declared that Tuesday, June 16, 2026, is the 1st day of Al Muharram 1448 AH and marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year.
We ask Allah (SWT) to make this new year a year of peace, guidance, barakah, and success for the entire Ummah. May He accept our worship, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us steadfastness in faith.
